A Giclee is an elegant reproduction of
an original painting that I have produced. They are made
on archival canvas and are so carefully made the I cannot tell
them from the original. Why would I make Giclee? The
new digital technology allows for project reproduction in any
size that the collector wants. The process uses archival
inks, which are just as rich as the original paints and are absorbed
into the canvas in a similar manner. They do not need glass over
them and are ready to be popped in a frame. The Giclees
are signed and numbered (all editions are strictly limited to
only 50 images regardless of size.) Giclees cost about 80%
less than an original depending on the size.
Giclees price range depending upon
size and rarity: $175 - $2900.
